I recently spent a delightful weekend at Manor House, just a short train ride from London. The charm of the hotel is evident right from the friendly reception staff, who made check-in a breeze. One of the standouts of my stay was the dining experience. I was particularly intrigued by the communal kitchen, where I had the chance to prepare a few meals with fresh local ingredients. It was a pleasure to share culinary tips with fellow guests during a relaxing evening in the shared lounge. Breakfast was included, featuring a simple spread of cereals and coffee, perfect for starting the day. I also appreciated the nearby dining options like Dil Tandoori and Michael's Fish and Chip Bar, which offered variety without having to venture too far. While there were some minor inconveniences — like finding the shower a bit tricky to navigate and the lack of in-room coffee facilities — they didn’t overshadow the wonderful culinary aspect of my stay. Manor House is a solid choice for those looking to indulge.
